Relaxing pursuits - strolling the beach, bushwalking, birdwatching or just sitting on the deck watching the whales migrate - typify a Straddie holiday. The more adventurous can try sea kayaking, snorkeling or scuba diving and sandboarding. Of course, golf, tennis and lawn bowls are on offer, too.

Activities on the island include swimming, surfing, or walking along one of the many pristine, white, sandy beaches. All of this is within walking distance of your accommodation at Straddie Views.

North Stradbroke Island is also the place to come for whale watching from May through to October. while on our island you should take the opportunity to visit the incredibly beautiful freshwater lakes with their abundant birdlife.

Bushwalking (with ocean views!), golf, tennis, lawn bowls and (best of all) peace and serenity are only a one-hour ferry ride from Brisbane’s bayside suburb of Cleveland.

The inland lakes, set in the tranquillity of the bush, are ideal for a relaxed picnic or swim. Specified beaches and 4WD forest tracks are open to off-roaders. We can arrange 4WD tours for our guests.
