The lounge features a giant bay window and an ornate open wood fireplace. The kitchen is a delight, fully equipped and generously stocked with a self-serve breakfast which can be enjoyed on your private deck overlooking the gum trees. Everything has been thought of so all you need to do is relax and enjoy the romance and beauty of the Loft.

Your private suite within the historic sandstone Rose Lindsay Cottage – part of the original Norman Lindsay Estate – is filled with fresh flowers, original early Australian water colour paintings, exotic hand-woven rugs, designer furnishings and a porcelain and pine washstand.

French doors open from your bedroom to our private sitting room with exposed sandstone walls and huge windows overlooking the garden. Here you’ll find home made biscuits, local spring water and all you need for a relaxing pot of tea or plunger coffee.

Your suite has a second bedroom. If you want to bring family or friends, there is plenty of room for doubles or twin share. When you awake a generous continental breakfast will be served to you in the sunny dining room or on the terrace overlooking the garden.

The wonderfully comfortable lounge and dining rooms will delight you and you can even play a genuine pianola from the Roaring Twenties! On a sunny day or a balmy evening you can swing on the swings just like in the movie ‘Sirens’ or play petanque on the lawn.

With Rose Lindsay Cottage as your base, there are so many wonderful things to do and see.. In the morning you can visit the Norman Lindsay Gallery with its magnificent sculptures, etchings and paintings of fairies, water nymphs and sirens; swim in the bush pool at Glenbrook; go bushwalking or bicycling or do nothing at all!
