Courtyard Balcony Fountain

The black wrought iron gates on Essex Street lead you into a beautiful courtyard where you might think that you had stepped back into a bygone era. Port Mill B&B is located in a complex originally built in 1862 as a flour mill by William Cornish and was completely restored in 1993. The B&B was newly constructed to resemble the old historic mill.

The enchanting courtyard with a cooling fountain is there for you to relax and unwind… you may never want to leave!

The Leeuwin and Batavia Room balconies provide varying views of Fremantle, including the Indian Ocean and main garden courtyard.

From the Duyfken and Zuytdorp Rooms you can gaze down on an inner courtyard with the soothing sounds of yet another fountain. The limestone property has a likeness to European architecture and is distinctly Freo in appearance.

Breakfast is taken in your room each morning at a setting overlooking your balcony or, in the summer, enjoy an al fresco meal actually on the balcony.

We provide a plate of fresh seasonal fruit, Port Mill muesli, premium orange juice, full-cream milk, freshly ground coffee, preserves, yoghurt, honey, butter and a selection of bread.
