Exploring Brisbane Forest Park
1st of 6 pages : Next
Maiala is the largest of a number of national parks within the 28,500 hectares of Brisbane Forest Park spreading west and north from Mt Coot-tha to Wivenhoe Dam and the Brisbane Valley. There are numerous walks, picnic spots and drives if you wish to explore.

On clear days you can see forever, both east and west, and at night there are twinkling lights which seem to go on and on. However, rainforest is perfect in the mist – after all, it wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the rain!
