Your hosts, Liz and Steve, met thirty-seven years ago while training at the prestigious hotel school in Lausanne and have been active in luxury hospitality ever since.

Steve is originally from England but spent many childhood years in Spain, and Liz is from Kenya in East Africa. In Kenya they ran hotels and operated their own restaurant. More recently Steve, the passionate foodie, ran his own outside catering company while Liz worked as marketing director for a 5-star chain of hotels and lodges.

They relocated to Western Australia in 2002 with a dream of finding a perfect place to build the ideal getaway. The vision has been realised in Lazy River which has all the elements vital to spoiling and pampering guests.

Steve is an accomplished chef and, with all the wonderful produce available in Western Australia, he enjoys demonstrating his culinary skills each evening.

For your convenience we have a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer and ironing facilities in your room.
