The dining room faces north so catches plenty of sunlight
on cold winter mornings but is shaded in other months by the verandah
which runs around the building.
The dining room
opens onto colourful English cottage gardens, an everchanging and
thoroughly uplifting feature of the guesthouse. Enjoy the splendid
beauty of the rose garden in late spring through summer and most
of autumn. Come winter and early spring, the same garden becomes
a mass of bulbs including bluebells, snowdrops and daffodils.
A
leisurely breakfast watching native birds amongst the flowers and
in the bird feeders and birdbaths at the edge of the patio is something
to be remembered, as is a solitary moment on the garden bench with
a book.
Your delicious
buffet continental breakfast includes a selection of cereals, yummy
Margaret River yoghurts, prunes, fresh fruit platter, peaches or
pears in juice, freshly brewed teas and coffee, fruit juices and
a selection of breads for toast. Rod whips up some muffins. Gluten-free cereals are usually kept on hand and other
allergies can be catered for if you advise when booking. |
