Comfortably furnished and tastefully presented with wood panelled and cream/tan rag-rolled walls, Te Koinga offers a superbly relaxing atmosphere.

Te Koinga's bi-folding doors open on to a generous wooden deck and sea views. It is suited for two couples or a family.

Set under the shade of a magnificent sprawling Pohutukawa tree and surrounded by picturesque gardens that offer lovely views and privacy, Te Koinga embraces the outdoors with extensive decking suited to alfresco dining and rest and relaxation in the sun. Winter warmth can be found inside, with a fireplace and a superb indoor dining table that seats up to sixteen people.

The bathroom includes both a shower and a bath and the open plan kitchen is equipped with a microwave, large fridge/freezer, stove, dishwasher and coffee maker. The two bedrooms have carpet and expand out in to the open plan dining and kitchen area and separate bathroom and toilet. 

Amenities include an outdoor shower, large sun umbrella, parking to your door and access to the hot tub (with sea views).

With its Kiwi bach type atmosphere and double bi-folding doors opening from the conservatory onto a picturesque garden and extensive sea views, Turehu Cottage is the ideal holiday location for a couple and child or two friends.

The cottage has a conservatory/ lounge, dining table and bathroom (shower/ toilet) and kitchen.

Turehu Cottage is well equipped with all the modern conveniences, including a microwave oven, stove, large fridge/freezer, coffee plunger and all kitchen and dining amenities.  

Whilst we doubt you'll use it, there is also a television in the bedroom area.  

There are a choice of outdoor dining locations… under one of the many sprawling pohutukawa trees that abound on the property, on the hillside bench/table overlooking the beach and Bethell's Valley beyond or on your front lawn with all views. 

Gentle cream walls with white trim and cork and slate floors create a warm, tasteful and comfortable atmosphere allowing  you to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the most of Auckland's west coast beaches.

There are extensive lawns and gardens for wonderful outdoor living and the view from your dining table in the conservatory expands from the sunsets and north end of Bethells Beach right up to Bethells Valley.

Both cottages are cleansed with a combination of essential oils which leave a gorgeous gentle scent. We make the beds and put out fresh towels on request to let you relax and soak up the atmosphere.

If you don't remember to bring your favourite food and champagne, we can provide you with an array of home cooked specialties  by prior arrangement, when staying at either Te Koinga or Turehu Cottage, and a wine list which includes New Zealand beers and New Zealand and international fine wines.  

Oh, and we always have a bottle of chilled French champagne on hand for those extra-special occasions!
