Gas log fires, spas, fully equipped kitchens and private decks are just some of the many features in our Stables and Camellia Cottages. The English country gardens and meadow nestle amongst a huge variety of beautiful century-old trees. For our overseas and interstate guests, the Dandenong Ranges is only 60 minutes' drive from the Melbourne International Airport and 45 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. |

Dovecote Cottage | |
This quiet garden retreat in the Dandenong Ranges is ideal for those who love quality, self-contained B&B accommodation and a beautiful setting. You will enjoy the privacy of your own cottage, the seclusion of our one-hectare property and an abundance of the local wildlife. If you are looking for a little more action there are wonderful walking trails to explore in Sherbrooke Forest and the Yarra Ranges National Park or perhaps challenge your fitness with a hike up the 1000 Kokoda Steps at the foot of the mountain. In the Dandenongs there are many things to do in the vicinity of Clarendon. Within minutes you can be wandering around the lively and colourful villages of Sassafras, Olinda and Mt Dandenong or be visiting six out of the eight Great Gardens of Victoria - National Rhododendron Gardens, Alfred Nicholas Gardens, George Tindale Gardens, William Ricketts Sanctuary, Cloudehill or Pirianda Gardens. For the young at heart, 10 minutes away there's the Puffing Billy steam train in Belgrave, the Kokoda Trail 1000 steps and the Sky High Observatory at the top of Mt Dandenong. Many antique shops house treasures next to contemporary galleries and studios filled with craft, sculpture and decorator items created by the many artists who have made the Dandenongs their home. The Dandenong Ranges is also home to a great number of restaurants, cafes and tearooms like Wild Oak, Miss Marple's Tea Room, The Cuckoo, Ranges and the new Olinda Tea House suiting a wide range of palates and pockets! Tesselaar's Tulip Farm is a short drive from the Dandenongs and the renowned Yarra Valley wineries just a 45-minute drive. |
