Beautifully restored Corkwood Cottage was originally built for the station’s head stockman and his family. Corkwood Cottage is a self-contained residence with three bedrooms, lounge, dining area, kitchen and bathroom. The cottage is airconditioned and heated in winter. A mini bar is included. A wide shady verandah surrounds the cottage in the true tradition of a Australian bush dwelling, an ideal spot for morning coffee or to relax in the early evening to catch the changing colours on the distant hills as daylight fades. Don’t be surprised if a kangaroo hops through the garden, or a dingo howls in the distance. At night you’ll be far enough away from extraneous light to fully appreciate the wonder of the southern night sky, a remarkable spectacle.
