At Teichelmann's Frances and Brian offer the comforts of home and the opportunity to relax after an eventful day. Whilst Teichelmann's is our home, having six guest bedrooms on two levels as well as a guest lounge, provides our guests with the freedom to come and go as they please.

There is a comfortable non-smoking guest lounge. We place a strong emphasis on the personal side of our business and have created an environment where guests feel welcome and at home. Guests are able to interact with others or spend time alone if they choose.

Teichelmann's is located centrally in Hokitika, giving guests the freedom to park their car at the end of a busy touring day and take a short walk to dinner, go shopping or visit our local attractions, including great sunsets at the beach. Teichelmann's is very well located for those travelling by bus.

Breakfast at Teichelmann's includes a choice of fresh juices, teas, coffee, cereals, preserved & fresh fruits, cheeses and cold meats, yoghurt, freshly baked croissants, toast, a choice of spreads and of course a choice of hot dishes of either American-style pancakes with maple syrup, or a traditional English breakfast.

No charge is made for cancellations up to 4.00pm on the day prior to arrival. After that we reserve the right to charge one night's cancellation fee.
