Queenscliff marks the beginning or the end of the Great Ocean Road and lies close to the entry to Port Phillip Bay. Travelling by car it is approximately 90-minutes drive from Melbourne via Geelong. Queenscliff can also be reached via the car/passenger ferry from Sorrento.

Attractions include great golf courses, walks and bike rides – Port Nepean National Park, the 'Walk It, Joy It, Ride It' Rail Trail to name some. There is also a restored steam train ride from Queenscliff to Drysdale. Close by are historic Fort Queenscliff, wineries, fishing and diving charters, local markets, museums, galleries and bookshops.
