It is time to give your romance a beautiful new direction by escaping to a gorgeous hideaway in the Blue Mountains!

Our enchanting two-storey sandstone cottage, set in wildflower gardens is part of the original Norman Lindsay estate. Built early last century by Rose, wife of controversial artist, writer and sculptor Norman Lindsay, the original sandstone cottage was later enlarged to two storeys. During the 1990s Annette and Danny Wotherspoon renovated it, neatly blending a sense of history with comfortable contemporary design.

This beautifully restored historic two-storey sandstone cottage stands in a forest of towering gums. Exquisite interiors create a different ambience for you to savour. Allow us to pamper you in style and grace, with special chocolates and flowers fresh from our garden.

Our spacious sunny rooms are beautifully furnished. For a special celebration or escape, you would love the privacy and romantic atmosphere of the honeymoon suite, with huge windows overlooking wildflower gardens, gazing over sunset-golden gum trees. Many of our guests are return visitors, or are recommended by people who have been here before. We would love to have you come and enjoy our B&B too.

How do you like the sound of a cosy private suite with your own butler and chef? Just imagine a romantic escape in which every day seems like two or three. Crisp evenings beside a crackling fire, then waking to the calls of a melodious lyrebird. Some of our guests tell us that a weekend here is as good as a whole week somewhere else!
