From Cairns…

Travelling south along the Bruce Highway, it is a two-hour drive through beautiful tropical north Queensland. Just after an hour of travelling you will arrive at the fairly large town of Innisfail. Keep on the Bruce Highway – there is a right turn to be made as you leave Innisfail (signposted Tully) in order to stay on the highway. After about 40 minutes, you will reach the township of El Arish, and there is a left turn for Mission Beach. Follow the road for about 14 km and just before entering Mission Beach you pass Clump Mountain on your left. Afew hundred metres further on there is a small retail centre on the right. Immediately after the shops take a right (signposted Cassowary Drive, Wongaling Beach, South Mission Beach, Tully). About 1 km on the right is Mission Circle which has a B&B sign at the corner. Simple!

From Townsville…

A 2.5 hour drive north on the Bruce Highway. Beyond Townsville you enter the Wet Tropics of Queensland, and pass spectactular Hinchinbrook Island. Just beyond Tully (a typical Queensland town), turn right for Mission Beach. After about 10 km you will see one of our big B&B road signs, telling you that you have another 9 km to go. You will pass a police station and a school on the right, then a small retail centre. In front of the shops is a big concrete cassowary – about 4 or 5 metres high. Mission Circle is the first left after you pass the shops – about 1 km. Another one of our signs is at the corner of Mission Circle. Too Easy!
