Quality Edenholme GrangeQuality Edenholme Grange, Launceston, is a grand Victorian house (1881) set in secluded and substantial grounds. Quality Edenholme Grange was the name of a three-masted barque that plied from the Port of Launceston and which, unfortunately, came to grief on Hebe Reef at the mouth of the Tamar River.

One may breakfast in a grand dining room with antique furniture and open fire enhancing the atmosphere, or view the Tamar Valley and the city from the balconies. Quality Edenholme Grange is located close to Launceston’s many fine restaurants and attractions but is serene and peaceful, being situated between the Cataract Gorge and the city centre. Quality Edenholme Grange is within 20 minutes’ drive of the Tamar Valley wine tour.

Breakfasts at Quality Edenholme Grange

Breakfast is served (at the time you wish) in a grand lounge/dining room with an open fire (when appropriate) and consists of several courses with choice of (or all!) cereal, fruits in season, Tasmanian yoghurts and cream, cooked eggs, bacon, sausages and tomato (cooked the way you wish), followed by croissants with ham and Tasmanian camembert, fresh breads, muffins, toast, etc. Freshly brewed tea and coffee are available when you want. Our speciality is scrambled eggs cooked with herbs and capped with smoked Tasmanian Atlantic salmon or ocean trout.

Settlers Cottage, being self-contained with full kitchen, is supplied with equivalent breakfast provisions – fruit juice, fresh fruit salad, dried fruits, cereals or muesli, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, breads and/or croissants and jams.

Refreshments

Port and chocolate are served in the evening, on returning from your dining at one of the many excellent restaurants nearby or before retiring. The premises are licensed and, for the convenience of guests, there is an English-style bar and lounge (additional to the Grand Lounge). We have a selection of Tasmanian wines which may be purchased to take home or on your travels or, of course, to drink here.

Romantic Holiday Addition
