Location of Craggibungle Cabin
Coonabarabran Map

Craggibungle Cabin is located on a 300 hectare property nestled between The Craggs and Bulleamble Mountain and adjacent the spectacular Warrumbungle National Park.

Our charming, self-contained mudbrick cabin offers a different opportunity to enjoy the solitude of the bush in comfort.

At your doorstep are thousands of hectares of dramatic peaks, wide open spaces and unspoilt bushland with abundant wildlife. The immensely varied plant life provides an ideal habitat for hundreds of animal species.

Craggibungle is a lovely place with peaceful days and starry nights. Please come and enjoy it as it is.

Climate
Spring, summer, autumn and winter are distinctly different. The average winter day is sunny and warm with frost (sometimes very heavy). We generally get a few days of windy, wet weather when it is nice to sit inside in front of the fire. In summer it can become quite hot during the day, but being in the mountains, it always cools off at night. The annual rainfall of about 760 mm can come at any time of the year.

Skywatch Observatory
Coonabarabran is the astronomy centre of Australia. The Skywatch Observatory is open to the public every night.

Key
We will let you know how to pick up the key. Please make arrangements before you arrive at Coonabarabran.
