The Setting of Arcadia Cottages
Mature Trees Autumn Snow
The approach to the seclusion of Arcadia is through green, temperate rainforest. The cottages are surrounded by hundred-year-old oaks, southern beeches and cathedral-high mountain ash.

Arcadia Cottages’ rambling gardens still retain a hint of the original Edna Walling design. In winter the camellias bloom in pink, red and white; in spring rhododendrons flower in their hundreds. Wild ducks paddle on Arcadia’s ornamental ponds.

Beyond the gardens, distance gives the ranges a watercolour wash of blue. The feeling is relaxing and enchanting.
